4 new appliances for Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service. Based on Volvo FL L chassis cabs and fitted with Godiva Prima pumps these are the 1st 4 vehicles in the 2009/2010 order of 14 appliances currently in build for the Service.
In the Browns tradition of continuous improvement and development the vehicles include a significant number of modifications and innovations from previous deliveries to reflect changing technologies, best operating practices and end user requirements and feed-back.

Browns Coachworks team walked off with the winning trophy for this year's International Oyster Festival Soap Box Race at Hillsborough. The driver Jonny Wilson broke the world record for the fastest time down the famous Hillsborough hill at a time of 18 seconds . Jonny was helped by team member's Michael Wylie and Frankie Wickings. Well done and congratulations to all.
